Vote against Oke-Ogun and incur a generational curse.
Vote against Oke-Ogun and incur a generational curse.
How spiteful would it be, if wisdom is absent where it's much expected? Some claimed they are for us, but of truth, they are against us. Some are there, but claimed to be here. Some are truly Oke Ogun by origin but the blood running in them is not ours. Some appear holy but deep down them, they are Lucifer. How do we then know the real comrades amongst these pretenders? We are all yelling for having a governor of Oke-Ogun extraction come 2019, yet the chants of some is nothing but a mere cacophony and complete deceit. Indeed, enemies are within.
Apology to Marthin Luther King Jnr who said and i quote, "Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent". Oke-Ogun Project is such an excellent one which a sane, right thinking and a true son of the land would always identify with. My attention has just been drawn to the satanic plot of some vagabond claiming Oke-Ogun, to distort the God's stamped project by acclimatising with non- indigene aspirants for the number 1 seat of the state.
I use to say it that, It is more honourable to be a bloody illiterate than to be an educated illiterate. It's sadden to discover that most of these eccentric elements are self assumed literates who should literarily know what we have passed through in this region and correct same via this struggle of ours, but they cheaply sold their conscience and are at the verge of betraying our supposed collective interest.
We may all have our preferred aspirants or belong to certain political party, that's fine. But it is sacrosanct at this moment to put all and any preference behind us and embrace Oke-Ogun candidacy, no matter which political party files the candidate. It is only when we speak with this voice that the 2 leading political parties would be compelled to file an Oke-Ogun fellow as their flag bearer. Behold! It's because we settle for anything we are always being belittled. Since our back is bent, any unscrupulous elements would feel free to climb us. Thus has to stop!
As for me, my family and all progressive minded of the region, Oke-Ogun mandate is worth it and we shall support any party that sings this our song. It's on this note I challenge all the purported political gladiators of Oke-Ogun to do all they can to ensure the success of this struggle by facilitating same, through filing Oke-Ogun candidate as a flag bearer. If this can't be done, then you are not highly referred political gurus you all claim you are, in fact, you are not close to it.
" Tell your pay masters and principals to drop their mandate for Oke-Ogun this time, for they are not better than us, they are just being privileged".
To all fellow compatriots, let's keep our feet firm and believe truly we can do it regardless of the bigwigs who are for or against. Two things are very certain, nemesis and recompense. Check yourself which one you deserve in lieu of your actions and attitudes towards this developmental course. I would like to end this piece by Rene Descartes's saying thus: I hope that posterity will judge me kindly, not only as to the things which I have explained, but also to those which I have intentionally omitted so as to leave to others the pleasure of discovery.
