PROTOCOLS All honour, glorification and sanctification are all due to the Almighty Allah, the nourisher of our lives, the master of the judgement's day, the Alpha and Omega and of course , the custodian of souls, for counting us worthy amongst the living today. We say Alhamdulillah robil aalameen. What a great privilege being in the midst of elders and youths of our great town, to reflect on the time past, discuss the present and navigate through a better future. It's indeed a priceless opportunity. It baffles mind when the custodian of meat is found struggling with bones. It’s unfortunate when dealer of clothing appear unclad or tattered. Its worrisome when rich cry. What could have being the cause of the aforementioned? Insanity or self stringiness? The right answer could only be provided by the victim. It is obvious that “the unexamined life is not worthy living” (Socrates). ABOUT US

The Iseyin Youthful Development Group is a pressure, social-developmental group committed to transforming Iseyin into a mega city, righting the ancestral wrongs, helping the less privileged and being the voice of the voiceless.

VISION

To have a working mechanism that would facilitate prompt emancipation of Iseyin from age long marginalization and transform her into a mega City in no distant time.

MISSION

To build a formidable and harmonious atmosphere such that Iseyin youths home and in diaspora can deal in unity, cooperation and brotherhood to truncate Iseyin township's lingering marginalisation and facilitate her development in all ramifications.

GOALS

To patriotically awake authorities and get them to perform their constitutional duties for the masses, through physical visits, open or private letters, sending of mails and the use of social media.

To work assiduously to reinstate unity and cooperation amongst kit and kin, which will in turns engineer collaboration of old and young towards Iseyin development.

To activate an atmosphere where everyone would be gainfully engaged via inter and intra referral or recommendations and dissemination of useful information.

To Consistently orientate youths on subscribing to things that are truly beneficial to the community and detest any personal gain at the detriment of the community at large.

OBJECTIVES

1. To awake the youths consciousness towards development.

2. To disseminate information on developmental Issues, Real Job Opportunities, motivational speech, Befitting News, Progressive Suggestions & Educative Posts.

3. To Sensitize Youths on Civic Education and their roles in community development, harm of drug abuse and engagement in social vices, through Seminars, Workshops, Leadership Training Programs, etc.

4. To Organize public lectures on topics of National, State and Local interest towards Sustainable growth and Economic Development.

CORE VALUES

It is believed that, with everyone doing it right at all times, better Iseyin and Nigeria is very achievable. As such, IYDG Core Values are placed on the five lettered word R.I.G.H.Twhich connotes:

1. RESPECT: Every Member of IYDG must be very cultured and be Respect Oriented. Rule of law must be respected, so is the fundamental human right of co -members and the entire citizens.

2. INTEGRITY: Integrity is the key to the sanctity of any system, as such, every member must portray high level of integrity such that would model same to others.

3 GENEROSITY: As a key factor to addressing the poverty, IYDG is an advocate and practitioner of generosity. By so doing, everyone would feel great and Social vices would be reduced to the barest minimum.

4 HONESTY: Honest of purpose, action and reactions without any favour or prejudice.

5. TRANQUILITY: Absolute serenity and complete tranquility even at the point of agitating for the restoration of common man's right.
