An Open letter to the Senator Re-elect, Representing Oyo North Senatorial District, (Distinguished Senator Fatai Buhari).


Distinguished Senator,

Let me start by congratulating
you on your reelection as the senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, in the prestigious upper chamber of the National Assembly Abuja. It was indeed a clean fight and of course a good win as people of this district, (Iseyin in particular) shown you their unflinching love and solidarity even at the expense of their own son. May you be guided divinely so as not to betray the trust reposed in you by the good people of our dear region.

Having said that, may I at this juncture offer you a couple of admonitions, which I believe can serve as a brochure and may be useful at one point or the other, in discharging your duties as a senator of the Federal Republic representing this district.

Without any ado, drawing an inference from your first term and your sojourn through the 2nd term bid electioneering and campaigns. You must have studied the political structure in our dear district and by now have a conviction that, your reelection bored down to your antecedents in the senate, cum peoples' hope that you will follow your sponsored bill in respect to the establishment of Higher Institutions of learning to the actualization stage.
