An Open letter to PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

An Open letter to PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, President and Commander-in- Chief of the Armed forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Let me first commend your government for the proactive approach towards the Boko Haram insurgents and your serial fulfilment of bring back our girls campaign promise, its indeed an applaudable achievement. I need to also commend you for giving us Ahmed Ibraheem Alli to sanitise the Nigerian Custom Service, it's very thoughtful of you sir. It's also worthy to note that your government has in a way sanitize the public sector, through your anti-corruption programme thus relieving some corrupt public office holders of their portfolios and landed some in jail, Baba it is awesomely meritorious.

That said your Excellency, it is very appalling and saddening that humans' blood has become an ordinary sachet water that can be spilled at will by the Fulani headsmen without anybody talking. Yesterday was a mourning day in Benue state where 78 bodies were given mass burial, and neither a condolence visit nor a condolence message was made or sent to the state. On this, your minister for information and communication, Lai Muhammad has also gone dumb and what will come out of your special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adeshina was that, more people died during Jonathan's Administration, this is parochial, your Excellency.

I gave it to you sir, when you visited the Nigerian Army in Borno at the point when the war against insurgents was at its peak and very tense, why can't same be replicated this time, for Benue people to know you felt for them, and that the Fulani headsmen are not being covered because you are from Fulani Origin. Remember your said, you be long to none.

Mr. President, the time is now that an Anti-grazing law MUST be promulgated in the Nigerian Constitution and the violators be brought to book. I would like to vote for you again provided farmers can sleep with their eyes closed without any phobia of attack from the Fulani headsmen, Exchange rate of Dollar to Naira reduces to the barest minimum as promised during campaign, more Chibouk girls are released, more jobs are created, minimum wage reviewed, Our power becomes stable, PMS is widely available and affordable, political offices are made less juicy, more attention is paid to the health Sector, the Nation's economy restructured, the Nation's education system revived and finally, legal system sanitized so that Evans the kidnapper, Fulani murderers and corrupt politicians would be made to face the wrath of the law, to serve as a deterrent to their cohorts and allies.

We Nigerians are looking forward to having a credible, unmanipulated, non provoking, unbiased and an itch free elections come 2019 God's willing, under your watch. Better Nigeria is Achievable.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Oniyo Babajide.
A Concerned Nigerian.
